Let’s Build Real (self care) Momentum in this Final Quarter of the Year
Because We’re Making Burnout Last Season’s Issue.
Let’s be honest—”new month, new me” sounds great… until the inbox explodes, the laundry multiplies, and your to-do list laughs in your face by 10:00 AM.
That’s why this week in our Glow Goals After 40 series, we’re focusing on realistic habits — the kind that actually fit into your busy lifestyle and still move the needle forward for your skin, your energy, and most importantly your sanity.
Here’s the truth no one talks about: (truth bomb time):
💥 It’s not about doing everything everyday — it’s about doing what matters, consistently.
🌿 Here Are My 3 Favorite “Real Life” Habits Right Now:
1. My 2-Minute Skincare Routine (Because that’s all it takes with ABBI)
Wash + Eye Serum + Custom Cream.
No fuss, no extra steps, and it actually works. Consistency wins, not complexity.
2. Protein + Collagen Coffee, and Everything Else
I’ve never been a huge breakfast eater and I’m still not. But I do make sure my morning coffee (at least one cup) has my protein/collagen supplement mixed in, I also make sure I have a smoothie with milk, yogurt and fruit ( and yes now my supplement ). And let’s not forget afternoon iced coffee also with the supplement. Just a Amazon/Walmart bought one that’s flexing for me but making my feel so much better and energetic. ( not really but you get the idea)

3. Ten Minutes of “Me Time” = Non-Negotiable
Whether it’s journaling, stretching, reading, or just sitting in silence with my coffee… it’s mine.
Your moment doesn’t have to be long — it just has to be yours.
What’s does your ten minuets look like? Even if it’s your shower time, or going into the bathroom alone for a good cry (yes we’ve all had this moment a time or 8). just make sure you carve out something just for you.

Why This (normally) Works
Small habits build BIG momentum.
Momentum builds confidence
And confidence? That’s where the glow really kicks in — inside and out!

The truth? You don’t have to overhaul your whole life to get real results. You just have to start showing up-for you.
It can be as simple as a ten minute walk, a better moisturizer, 5 more grams of protein a day. That’s it.
These tiny, but realistic habits, build momentum, which builds growth, which leads to real changes.
It’s not about perfection, it’s about progress, and you finding your best you.
