Just before the holidays reach their peak, time can soften for just a moment.
This year, I’ve come to really appreciate this pause. The small quiet times before the crazy, it feels good to simply sit back. Not to judge the but to just notice the things around me. The small things we don’t always take notice of because life can get loud. .
This time of year reminds me that joy doesn’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes it shows up in the smallest things — a quiet morning, a familiar routine, a moment of calm at the end of a long day. Those little moments are easy to overlook, but they’re often the ones that steady us the most.
And maybe that’s the real gift of this in-between season. Give yourself permission to slow down, reflect, and appreciate what’s already here — without needing to fix, improve, or rush ahead just yet. Take in the moments and just let them happen. They don’t have to be magazine perfect to be memorable.
Merry Christmas, my friends.
Wishing you peace in the quiet moments and joy in the simple ones.
