What I heard time and time again this weekend…
This weekend I was busy at the Show Low Small Business Expo, talking to people, answering questions, and doing a few skin analyses. The number one thing I heard over and over from people was , “I’m not really sure what my skin needs.”
And honestly this isn’t surprising. There are so many choices out there when it comes to skin care, that’s it’s hard to know what’s right for your skin.
That’s exactly why I love having a starting point that actually looks at what’s going on with your skin and gives you choices based on your skin’s current needs.
Instead of guessing or trying a little bit of this and that you can see what your skin is asking for and go from there. It’s so simple when you have a direction to go. And the other thing I heard just as much was this:
“I have so many unused products at home—I’m just trying to use them up.”
And I get that. ( been there done that). I mean no one wants to waste money by throwing away products they’ve already bought. Right?
But here’s the part that doesn’t get said out loud…
If you’ve been using something for a while and it’s not doing what you want it to do, is it really worth continuing just to “use it up”?
Because at this point, you’re not just using up the product. You’re using up your time. Your energy your patience. And your sanity. Plus, you’re still not getting the results you want. And you won’t be.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is to stop trying to force something that isn’t working and switch to something that will actually be supporting your skincare needs.
Not more products.
Not more steps.
Just the right ones.
Skincare doesn’t have to be complicated—but it does have to make sense for you. So if you’ve been stuck in that cycle of “I’ll just use this up first,” it might be worth asking yourself…
Is it helping?
Or am I just trying not to waste it?
Because your skin (and your time) are worth a lot more than that.
If you ever want help figuring out what actually makes sense for your skin, I’m always here 😊 Or you can always start with a quick skin analysis here
